Diving Deep in December

For the last 5 days at Wainui Beach School 2018 we are doing a small inquiry, called Diving Deep In December. We have been assigned 4 tasks to finish relating to helping poverty problems. Our teacher, Koka Jess, sent us this slideshow with the tasks- it is down below. The last task, number 4, is to go through old stuff which are not used any more in our households so that we can up-cycle them into Christmas gifts for people living in poverty, who can't afford to buy gifts. We have the rest of this week to finish the tasks to a high standard. Once we are finished we will donate the gift boxes to charities. My teacher is hoping to get in contact with the Gisborne Herald so that some of our writing can go in the newspaper. Last term I made a quote, and I think nobody else made it up, 'Humble is helpful'. I think that is relevant to this inquiry topic...
